Delta 9 Gummies FAQ
Is CBN the same as Delta 8?
No, Delta-8 THC and CBN are not the same compound. When compared to Delta 8, CBN produces much milder effects. CBN products rarely make you feel high, while Delta 8 products can cause a high at a sufficient dosage.

Does Delta 9 alleviate pain?
Many medical marijuana advocates—cancer and AIDS patients, migraine sufferers, and people with movement disorders—attest to microdosed cannabis helping relieve pain.
A research paper found that cannabis use for cancer pain has led to a 64% reduction in opioid use and improved the overall quality of the patients’ lives. In addition, microdoses of Delta 9 seem to treat chronic migraines.
What is HHC?
Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is a minor cannabinoid occurring in small quantities in the cannabis plant. Commercial HHC is chemically made from hemp-derived CBD.
HHC is considered THC’s close relative as both compounds produce similar effects. Users describe the HHC “high” as being something between Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC but less potent and less psychoactive. They report many similar effects to Delta-9 THC: paranoia, sedation, dry mouth, red eyes, increased anxiety, and the munchies.
The most popular way to consume it is with HHC vape cartridges, gummies, and other HHC products. HHC gummies are federally legal, since they are derived from hemp and not technically THC. Yet, some experts remain skeptical about HHC legality.
HHC vs HHC-O
Let’s meet another cousin in the family: HHC acetate or HHC-O. To make HHC-O products, producers add acetic anhydride to HHC molecules. This increases their potency: manufacturers report that HHC-O can be as three times as strong as HHC.
What is THCV?
Tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THCV, is a compound from the cannabis plant. It offers a unique array of effects and benefits a bit different from other cannabinoids like Delta-9 THC and CBD.
THCV has a similar molecular structure and psychoactive properties to THC. Unlike its big cousins THC and CBD, THCV suppresses appetite. This may be useful to cannabis users who are focused on weight loss, but should be avoided altogether if you’re suffering from appetite loss or anorexia.
THCV products are great if you're diabetic. Some research shows promising results in THCV’s ability to regulate blood level sugars. It seems that this minor cannabinoid has therapeutic benefits on our mental health, as well. Many people take THCV gummies as a way to treat anxiety, panic disorder, and PTSD.
Is CBD good for pets?
Similar to humans, CBD has demonstrated a wide range of benefits for animals, including pain relief, anxiety relief, anti-inflammatory effects, and more.
Like humans, pets have an endocannabinoid system that interacts with CBD. Accordingly, the benefits of CBD for animals should parallel that of humans, though the CBD dosage will need to be altered.
CBD for pets is a fairly new area of research, though many are trying CBD isolate, CBD topicals, and CBD oil for dogs, cats, and other animals—and are reporting good results.
Is Delta 9 an indica or sativa?
Delta 9 THC is found in both indica and sativa strains of cannabis plants. Our Delta-9 products contain hybrid strains that combine the benefits of both indica and sativa.
For more info on why we opt for hybrid cannabis over indica or sativa, see our guide to sativa and indica edibles.
